I’ve always heard people say, “April showers bring May flowers.” Well, if you know me and my affinity for flowers, then you know, I can’t wait!
Here in the Sierra Foothills we have had several late storms roll through here. I’m not talking about a scattered shower here and there. I’m talking about storms, with hail, rain-drops the size of marbles, over-flowing rivers, flooding, everything else you would expect of a mid-winter storm, except this isn’t mid-winter, it’s Springtime, late Springtime at that.
I don’t mind the rain at all. Actually, I enjoy it.
With May just around the corner, it’s time to dig out your old walking shoes, find Bowser’s leash and park your car, it’s time to walk in the hills!
